At the very start of my career, I spent a lot of time practicing my UI skills by redesigning famous apps. One of my most interesting work was the one I did on Tricount. Little did I know that this fake project done a few years ago would actually lead to actual client work !

Tricount is an app for spliting bills and organize a group spendings in a simplified way. With 37k downloads on the Apple store only, Tricount is one of the most downloaded app for splitting bills.

I’ve been using this app a lot on a daily basis for years now to manage my trips with friends or my household spendings. However, we always seemed to be confused on how to use the app.

Mariusz, my client, couldn't bare the way Tricount was working for his group of friends and decided to develop his own app. He found out about my Tricount redesign and asked me if we could work together on his project. He provided me with all the insights he got from his friends, guided me on how they were currently sharing their expenses and thanks to my previous analysis of Tricount's UX, we managed to build the perfect app tailored to his needs !
